Caring Cowls

It has finally been getting cold lately so I'm so happy that I can now wear this lovely scarf from Caring Cowls. It is soo cozy (one of the very few scarves I have that actually has a purpose) and super soft. Sarah, the awesome person behind Caring Cowls, also donates proceeds to charity so definitely know that when you buy a cowl, it will be for a great cause.

And here's some more info about her store: Caring Cowls is a nonprofit organization that raises money for various charities and organizations.  All proceeds from sales are donated (minus material and shipping costs).  Currently, Caring Cowls is funding for Action Against Hunger, but last year, $300 was donated to both the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.  A new charity will be chosen and funded for very soon!

Caring Cowls offers a large variety of styles, colors and patterns.  You can view them on her Etsy Store, blog, or contact Sarah at caringcowls@live.com

Caring Cowls is also offering 20% off with the code: JFO20 so woohoo :)

  1. That scarf is sooo warm and cozy looking! I love knit scarves. :) And I'll be excited if you go to college on the east coast. I will love seeing your photos. And yes, it will be a totally different change of wardrobe. I definitely own a lot more coats, closed toed boots, and sweaters here! It's way different than California! <3

  3. I love it how your new scarf matches the cardi. cream and navy look beautiful together :) well and those boots are a w e s o m e! it's also such a nice philosophy this store has, especially when Christmas is close and people should do as much positive things as they possibly can. I know it would be nice to do it all the time but still, Christmas is somehow special :)

  23. Aw, I've heard about these before on Ashley's blog... they're just adorable! And yeah, they do look super cozy. I want a circle knit scarf like this. It'd be nice for taking on and off instead of a hulking coat.

Your polka dots are adorable, Miss Joyce! Have a great hump DAY!

  32. Hey! I really like your ourfit! How did do the DIY cardigan? How did you make sure the cut parts won't fray on you?

    1. Hi!:) I just the cut cardigan using scissors. It did fray and lose some knit parts, but after a few shakes, all the loose yarn parts came out and now it's all good. I recommend trying this on an old cardigan first!
