Those shorts are super cute! I also love how you used that floral necklace as a headband, I wish I would stay up though :). I'm terrible at DIY's too, but you did a great job!
Oooh, LOVE the floral shorts Joyce! Glad you added those extra two pictures as well - the floral crown is adorable and your DIY turned out good it seems :)
Love the first image, the light behind you is beautiful! Love the floral print paired with the denim - kind of toughens the floral slightly. As for your DIY that looks amazing, wish mine could turn out half as good at that! I'm too scared to try it!

I actually love both of those looks. florals and denim are classics and a hint of studs only adds some nice edge to the ensemble. and how adorable is the second outfit! I love denim, brown leather and lace together!
I adore the dip-dyed denim. I have been wanting to do this for sometime now, but I have a bad feeling that I would screw it up. Ha! Love the floral shorts.
Your shorts are so cute!!~ I'm always impressed by any kind of DIY, so even if you think they're not that impressive, I'm still quote impressed! :)
The lighting in that first pictures IS really cool! It's so foggy and airy~ and it kind of gives this lovely, ethereal vibe. I wish I could take some neat pictures like that! Way cooler than instagram, by the way. ;) Don't demote yourself to that!
i love how you're using that necklace as a headband- it's SO pretty that way! too bad it keeps sliding off though. and i absolutely LOVE both of these outfits, they're so so pretty
Loving the floral shorts and how you used the flower necklace as a headband- may have to steal that idea! I think you're dip dyed shorts actually came out great, I don't think they are supposed to look perfect. That's definitely another thing on my endless DIY list that I never seem to get around to! Happy tuesday! xo Hannah
Both of these outfits are so cute!! I'm absolutely obsessed with your floral shorts...so gorgeous and you've styled them perfectly! I'd love to follow you on Instagram too if you have it! Let me know your username if you get a chance! :)
Love the floral shorts and your studded slipper shoes. I almost bought some just like that but wondered what I'd actually wear them with. Also, you look super cute wearing that flower necklace as a headband/crown! I love it!
That's what bobby pins are for girl! You gotta pin that flower necklace to your hair. haha! i like it like that. :) And splotchy jeans are the whole reason I have not tried to bleach some denim. I think yours look kind of cool though. And I like that they are boyfriend shorts instead of the short shorts. Those look much nicer. Love your floral shorts too. I don't think I'll ever get enough of floral print. <3
Hiiiiii! :) It's been a while! I was away most of August and I hadn't had the chance to visit your blog dear! Looked through the posts that I've missed and I love them! Especially the blue asymetrical skirt (love how you paired it with striped tee), that wild printed skirt and stripey blazer! I also like your floral shorts! So cool! :)
Hi Joyce, both outfits are so pretty, i like that you've shown us two ways to wear denim, the floral shorts are a perfect summer piece and love that lace feminine skirt. The flower headband looks so sweet, i need to get myself one too.
Joyce, I LOVE that oversized denim top over the cute floral shorts. Do you have a link to them? because I'd LOVE to buy a pair haha! :) And the dress used as a top..GENIUUSSS <3 this look is definitely one of my all time faves! XO Rory www.WearAboutsBlog.com
Beautiful photos, they always have such a dreamy, floaty quality (I don't know how a photo can be floaty but it makes sense in my head!). I love your attempt at bleach dip dye, I really want to have a go!
I really like those shoes (shoe envy--again) is the GoJane brand durable? I've always wondered because they have awesome prices. Those shorts are so cute, I'd love to have them along with those dyed shorts. hint hint :)
These shorts are AWESOME. So are the tie-dyed shorts! I can't wait to see how you wear them, I wish I had the motivation to do that. And it's too bad that necklace wouldn't stay on as a headband, it looks adorable!
Ohhhh, I like that second outfit, with your floral crown/necklace that falls downs. :) The chambray tank with that lace skirt is just stunning, that is so my type of outfit! The floral shorts are really adorable, I keep trying to decide if they're really flowly shorts or a skort. (Skorts rock. No worrying about your skirt flipping up!) I love any outfit with a loose denim shirt, so the denim shirt, the shorts and those fun studded loafers makes this even cuter than the denim and the lace skirt. (In other words, I would wear both of these looks in a heartbeat!)
ohhh I'm totally loving those shorts! I've been so obsessed with loose-fitting, flouncy shorts like these and especially in such a cute floral pattern :)
the headband! i love that. i have a pearl necklace that I've turned into something similar, you've definitely convinced me to give it a try! thanks for the inspiration. xo
