I too love bows - I have a bow tattooed on the back of each of my legs. I love what you've done with that top, it looks great with your jeans and those shoes are incredible!!
Aw, you look so cute in this casual outfit. Thanks for the comment - I'm so excited about London. I just bought the one-way flight ticket and booked myself into two hostels for three weeks (to have time to look for a room to rent and all that). So terribly excited!
I LOVE your blog! Your layout is just perfect, love everything!! I became your follower number 670! Hope you could follow me back :) This outfit is so pretty, you have a beautiful smile ^_^
Well, dang! That's a seriously simple way to make a top even cuter. Those tie tops have always bothered me a little because I don't like having the lump of the tie down there by my stomach haha but this is such a simple fix! And so adorable! I love it. :D :D
Hi Joyce! Thanks so much for your insight on my post, really appreciate it! I so much prefer how you used the tie-up as a bow, much cuter! This denim on denim outfit is lovely, it inspires me to try it out!
Girl, you nailed denim on denim, and this DIY is awesome! I really need to go find myself a chambray/denim blouse. And sweet looking wedges like yours, once again hitting a shoe craving.
i love bows too and that top turned out so well! i'm always scared to wield scissors because my DIY never turn out haha. but love this look- you look so classic with the blues and reds!
You have such a creative soul! Seriously, looking at your blog and past posts is inspirational and I like your "How To Wear" section! :D x newest follower misstea & co.
Adorable. I love the denim on denim look (a favorite of mine) and I really like how you took the bow off the bottom and attached it at the next - gives it a chic touch. Great shoes btw.
This is such a cute idea! So easy too. And I love that you refer to it as a "tie thing," does that even have a name?? I'll have to do some research :) Love all of this from head to toe!
That is so cute! I've taken ties from dresses and tops and tied them under my collar for a temporary bow but this is a great idea to totally change the look of the top! It looks super cute with your denim skinnies and as usual your shoes are KILLER! :)
I love how you refashioned this top to put the bow around the neckline, just looking at the pictures I thought the bow was suppose to be there! (And I agree, it's way cuter around the neckline than at the bottom of the shirt.) These red wedges are stunning! Where are they from, if you don't mind me asking? (I love them, those are some of the cutest shoes I've seen in a while!)
I love the tie top and the shoes! Really cute outfit Joyce! -Jessica L
