The weekend

dress: H&M// jacket: Banana Republic// flats: Steve Madden// necklace: Stella&Dot (won from Amanda's blog, it's an Easy Life)

On the weekend, I went to the mall for a Nordstrom thing (i'm on the nordstrom bp fashion board) and oh  my goodness, I cannot stop eating chocolate covered raisins. In the mall, there's those things that give out candy when you put in quarters. I forgot what they are called, you know like the ones that usually have gumballs but anyways, the one in this mall has chocolate instead. I had to go the mall sort of often this month for Nordstrom related things and whenever I go, I always stop by those candy machines. (ahhh is that the word for it?! I absolutely cannot remember at this moment...) haha, so now I have a bunch of quarters in my wallet, ready to be used for raisins :) I just love munching on candy or cookies while i'm at the mall. Oh no, all this talk about the mall has made the "let's go to the mall" song (HAHAHAHA I love that show) stuck in my head.

  1. I don't think we have those in Portugal, so I can't help you :p I can, however tell you that I adore the Steve Madden flats! Yay, how I met your mother is the best!

  3. hahah chocolate covered raisins! :D You're funny. I used to really like those yogurt covered ones back in the day. Man, I wish our mall had neat things besides gumballs in the machines (whatever those types of machines may be called).

I like how you made such a girly dress into something else with that awesome cargo jacket! You always have the best, most unexpected combinations for things. Srsly srsly! And those flats are so shiny and remind me of Barbie haha in a good way. So cute.

  6. Hmm, I do believe they're just called candy machines...haha, I can't think of the name either!
But yeah, I love the yogurt covered ones that they have too. Those are sooo good.
Anyway, adorable outfit Joyce, I love the cute polka dot dress getting a tougher touch with the army-like jacket. :)

  11. I think they are just called candy machines, but now you have me wondering if there's another name for them, too! :)
Anyway, your outfit is simply delightful - it's the only way I can describe it. The lace with the military jacket and (is that a man's?) belt over top of it all makes for a pretty perfect outfit! Must. Find. Mens. Belt. (sadly, all of my boyfriend's belts are black, and I'm pretty sure he only has 1 or 2 anyway, so he probably won't be up for sharing).

  67. I really love this mix of rugged and sweet, the pretty, girly dress just works so well under the jacket! (And now you've given me insperation for wearing my jacket!) I'm crazy over your leather belt, it just adds to the roughness and then those pretty pinks flats play up the sweetness of the dress. Such a perfect outfit! (And how fun with all of the nordstromds things, that sounds exciting.)
