Thank you for all the book suggestions! I now have a long list of books to read and I can't wait to start :)
So it was supposed to rain today but it turned out to be sunny and warm so this outfit looks a bit out of place. Oh well, let's all just pretend that it's raining like crazy. I actually really like the rain since it sounds so calming when it pitter patters on the window. Even better if i'm drinking soup or something. Ahhh that's the best feeling in the world.
That dress is so cute and looks fab with the burgundy blazer!

you know, rain sounds like something wonderful even in my book right now when we're still in the middle of all that cold and snow (boo boo boo!!). anyway, I like the versatility of that outfit. your dress (skirt) is a pretty summery one but that coat actually even reminds me of early winter a bit. oh and what a beautiful shade of burgundy it has! + the combo of your belt and boots is great too ;)

That polka dot dress is adorable on you! I think listening to the rain can be very soothing but I don't love going out in it, especially if it's pouring!

This is a new favorite of mine! I can't believe that this is is actually a skirt AND that your grandma made it! You lucky girl, I wish my grandma made me things like this. It looks awesome with the color of this coat.

What a dreamy color combination! I love the navy and burgundy together-it always looks great. Plus, how cute are you with that billowy scarf? Love it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the rain as well, it's even fun to be out in it. (Unless we're talking like hurricane wind and rain and then the fun ends.) There is so much that's wonderful about this, I don't even know where to begin! I love the navy blue dress with the pairing of the brown boots and how you paired the burgundy jacket over it, it's just a fabulous color scheme. (I really enjoy reds/blues and browns together, they make for such a rich palette and yet still very natural and sophisticated.) The fit on this coat is especially nice, I like how it's a little but looser and over sized and almost as long as the dress, the little bit of polka dotted hem peeking out makes for so much visual interest. (And shorter dress look so nice with longer coats, very laid back and cool looking.)
ReplyDeleteEveryone really suggested some great books here in the comments, I see several books that I'd like the read. (And I totally bought those Amperstand heels because of Keiko! I love the thicker heel on them and I loved the baby-blue pair she has, she puts togther the best outfits with those shoes. I've been saving up for the past couple months for them but then I managed to find them on the 50% sale on neimen marcus last call website.)
I forgot to gush that it's so sweet that you have a skirt working as a dress made by your grandmother. That is just so indescribably special and sweet! I still have a few of the dresses that my mom made for me as a little girl packed away and it's so special to have something that someone made just for you.
