This weekend was actually pretty relaxing! I did a lot of online shopping/browsing since I'm looking for a prom dress :) Even though I would LOVE a twenties style beaded dress, they are kind of hard to find, hahha. So I'll probably go with a chiffon one of some sort. I'm thinking of one of these but I'm not sure since I like both.
Which one would you choose?
1. this one? OR 2. in light teal though! :)
Cute mix of prints!! Both of those dresses are so lovely, but I would go with number 1 because the color is so pretty!

Oooh that's a tough decision...I'm kind of leaning towards dress number one though...
ReplyDeleteLove the polka dot print you're rocking Joyce!
The Dragonfruit Diaries
You'll look amazing in either, but I love the first dress! So gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBoth are totally perfect but I would maybe choose the teal one <3

I would choose the first one because I unfortunately hate strapless clothes :P I just can't wear them and feel comfy at the same time because they keep slipping down, doesn't even matter how tight they are! :D anyway, polka dots and militarty print make a pretty fierce combo. and those shoes are lovely too :)

Ohh I LOVE the first one! The cut outs are gorgeous - definitely go for that one ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to post a picture of you in it! (:

Definitely the first one! Do you have prom really early? Ours isn't for another 5 months!

The first one ;D
ReplyDeleteThe second one, I think that pink prom dresses are like princess dresses. :)
ReplyDeletesuch great jacket! i wish uo open a store in my country D:
ReplyDeleteBoth dresses are absolutely beautiful! They're very similar but you might want to go with the one with straps...it'll be easier to dance in!

Hi Joy,
ReplyDeleteI would recommend looking here for your prom dress - they all have a 20's style, and some have been used on Gossip Girl and the Artist!

Ah, love this edgy look--what a unique combo to pair polkadots and a military jacket. Genius! And ahh, prom! Glad you're getting started early :) I look online whenever I have free time too haha. The first one looks super similar to the one I wore last year, except mind was one shoulder and had no cutouts. I think I'll have to go for the second one though! The bow is too cute! Where did you find that one?
ReplyDeleteme gusta la combinaciòn de este conjunto.
ReplyDeletevestidos de prom?? algo màs tapado serìa mejor, esos vestidos son para chicas mayores ;)
OMG is it that time of the year already!? I still remember my prom, although I wish I took a different date or even went stag!
ReplyDeleteYou look so elegantly chic Joyce! Such beautiful dresses, so hard to pick between the two, maybe the first one (because its pink ;) I am so grateful for your insightful comments. Have a great week ahead hun!
ReplyDeleteCamo on the edgy side and dots on the cute side, that's a perfect match! Such a hard decision, both dresses are gorgeous and I'm pretty sure you'd look amazing in both of them, I like the cut out from the first one but love the volume from the second one! So hard to decide!

After seeing your prom dresses, I wish I wore them for prom instead of the one I wore haha! I'm really liking the colour of the first one but the style on the second one :)

I really love the first one, such a beautiful color. I'm also really digging your styling of this adorable polka dot dress witha tougher camo jacket. Well done :)

I never would've thought I'd like polka dots and camo together, but I love this! And seriously, both of those dresses are gorgeous. I think I'm partial to the first one, but I don't think you could go wrong with either :)

I would have never thought of this pattern combination! I'm not even a fan of camo, but you are rockin' it so well.

I love your outfit - especially the shoes! And both dresses are so gorgeous! I would have a really hard time choosing, but I would probably go with the first one (funny since my prom dress last year was the same color!) just because it has those thicker straps that might help the dress stay up more. I had a strapless dress last year, and sometimes it would slip down a little while I was dancing! This post has me really excited though to look for prom dresses this year!
ReplyDeleteReally great blog, too!

Definitely the first one you had would look sooo pretty on you, and it's a little daring with the cutouts.
