Thank you for all the tips, words of wisdom, and advice about college! All of them were so helpful and i'm definitely feeling a lot less stressed and a lot more excited for college:)
And I didn't even notice until now, but this outfit almost looks patriotic. You know, if the dots were actually stars, haha. Usually, I go to a barbecue of some sort for Fourth of July, but I think this year, i'm just going to be relaxing at home. I'm actually really bad at barbecuing; I always manage to burn something so much that I can't even recognize what it is. Is it a meat or a vegetable? Who knows. But it's okay because I can make cookies and that makes up for it. Or at least that's what I tell myself.
What's your Fourth of July plans?

ReplyDeleteAlso I'm on the same boat as you with college. Scared but soo excited! :)

ReplyDeleteI like your polka top! You're right! This is a subtle patriotic look. You can probably repeat the same concept of this outfit for the fourth of july but wear something that is striped red instead.

Love love your adorable striped skirt, its the sweetest thing!
ReplyDeletehahaha, and for that reason, I let my dad do the grilling. I think my brother's girlfriend is coming over for the day and then we are going to grill out on the deck and maybe go see a movie. Usually we can catch glimpses of fireworks mirrored onto the lake behind us so we never really shoot our own. Our doggy is afraid of them! :(
ReplyDeleteI looove stripes and spots. This really does look rather 4th of July-like!
What an adorable skirt! Haha, I leave the grilling to my hubby...I have no idea how to barbecue. :)

I love how you paired the dots with stripes. I've been meaning to try a look like this out. I'll be at the lake all week, so me pulling off a chic outfit like this is not in the agenda. I'll be lounging around with a cover-up and swimsuit all week!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

Love that skirt, it's super cute! And college is kind of scary, yeah, but I'm sure you'll love it, whether you know what you want to do straight off the bat or figure it out along the way. Have fun on the 4th - I've got no clue what I'm doing for it, personally, other than hanging out with friends!

I love feminine heels. :) For 4th of July, we're going to be hanging out with my father in law one last time before we move, so it will be fun for my son to do sparklers and things with his grandpa. :) <3

This is my kind of Fourth of July outfit! haha These are my two favorite prints so I'm such a sucker for anything with the two of them paired together. I'll never get over how adorable this skirt is!
ReplyDeleteI thought this was dedicated to 4th July hehehe! Until I read the post that is! It's gorgeous regardless, polka dots and stripes always look beautiful on you darling. Hope you enjoy the holiday whatever you end up doing. BTW I don't BBQ, tried to make these chorizo skewer things but stupid me had little boccochini cheese which melted all over the place LOL. Never. Again.
