I'm so happy because I finally found a no heat curling technique that is easy enough for me to do. (Seriously, I tried doing the sock bun three times and it fell apart every time). So anyways, I did the headband curling thing and it works! Woohoo! What's your favorite way to style your hair?
And congratulations to Linsdey B for winning the catfootwear giveaway! I'll email you soon :)
ummmmm....I tried.....didn't exactly know where to put my hands hahaha.
I'm one who usually like my hair either wavy or just loose. I seldom have my hair all tied up. I think you can see it from my pictures =D
ReplyDeleteI saw how Laine tied her hair and I'm so excited and am think of trying it out too!
I also like your parka. Matches this outfit so well. Oh, nd congratulations to your giveaway winner =)
I love seeing all of the ways you wear this skirt, it's really adorable a effortless with the boots. (Love it with the utility jacket but then every outfit is better with a rugged coat.) The colors together are so so soft looks, even your jacket is a soft shade of green and it really works with the blush pink of the skirt.
ReplyDeleteMy hair never stays curled when I use an iron so I usually jut pull it up into a high ponytail, roll it round the base of the ponytail and then pin it. It works better good and isn't damaging on your hair, but I've never tried curlers so those might be even better. (I like your soft waves today, they look really pretty on you!)
I love this! I have a similar skirt and love how you styled it with this top. So cute!

ReplyDeleteThat last photo is so awesome! I love it :D
ReplyDeleteAnd haha, oh man, some days the sock bun just doesn't work for me either. I usually have to wait for second day hair for it to hold.
How do you always manage to look so adorably stylish?? I love your combinations Joyce. The rugged jacket is the perfect touch of cool to this cute look.

Your hair is so cute, Joyce! I usually just put my hair up in a ponytail because I'm no good at doing my hair. That, or my mom will play with it sometimes, haha. She is so good at making new hairstyles with braids and such!
ReplyDeleteI love this set of pictures. There are so many flowers--flowers on you, flowers in the background, flower power errywhar! Your skirt is the prettiest shade of light pink.
i like your outer. that rocks your whole outfit <3
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of that headband trick! I'll have to go check it out. Your hair looks very nice. :) And that floral top with that skirt is so cute! I just love spring fashions. And thanks for your help with the code. I hope you can help me figure it out! <3

I love the soft colors of the tee, and that last photo is amazing! Mine are always huge failures when I try to throw something and capture it in mid air (and I have tried more times than I should admit)!

I love different braids but am too lazy or always in a hurry and can't usually spend time on that. luckily my hair is naturally curly and that's a hairstyle too, right? :D anyway, what a wonderful choice of colours you have here! I'm in love with all the subtle pastels, especially with your floral tee and fab statement necklace. looking gorgeous, Joyce!

Hahaha my hair is too long for a sock bun, I have to wrap it around several times, then again I'm probably still not doing it right! I'm loving these beautiful loose waves on you. Have no idea how you did it so please teach me! LOL

I love this outfit! Its adorable with the floral shirt paired with the army jacket. And those flowers. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is too cute for words! The pink skirt is so pretty, and I love the soft spring hues on the tee. And how beautiful is that pink tree! There's a lovely pink tree by my house too. I tried throwing up the flowers in the air like you did here, but they're so heavy it didn't really work. Lol.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I am so glad to have found your blog via Twenties Girl Style! I've been trying to redesign my blog for a while now, and I just fell head over heels for your work. I can't wait to talk to you about what I'm envisioning but can't possible carry out on my blog!

Having sufficiently creeped on your blog...I can say, THIS look is my favorite ever! It's just so girly and Iove it. I especially love that a few key pieces pop up over and over again on your blog, because that's SO the way my wardrobe is, and just goes to show you don't need a cavernous wardrobe (or budget) to look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have def tried and struck out with the headband method. My hair is a little too janky and coarse for it. But yay glad it worked for you!!
