How to wear: brown combat boots

I can't decide if I want brown or black combat boots so I've decided to make outfits with brown combat boots to decide.

Outfit 1: I think brown combat boots nice with something more girly to balance out the toughness of the boots. So for this outfit, in addition to the sweater (with super cool elbow things) I added a floral scarf. And I just realized that this scarf was also used in my previous post about wearing denim shorts in the fall. Oh well, now you have two ways to wear this scarf!
Outfit 2: This outfit also has a floral something. To make it work for fall or winter, I added a denim shirt and knee high socks. You can probably tell through my how to wear posts that I love knee high socks for fall because wearing socks allows you to wear shorter length things while keeping you warm.
Outfit 3: I started out with this pink skirt. I love it because it has such a pretty color. Then I added a blazer to add structure to this outfit and to make this outfit casual for school, I added a graphic tank top.

Some of us get emphatically crafty to achieve the cultivated couture look we seek. By making adroit changes to items (sometimes slightly pass their prime) they become stylishly spectacular! For instance, my favorite links this week all happen to be DIY projects! These bloggers made tutorials for their colorblock hair accessories, faux Phillip Lim slacks and my favorite, DIY sparkle glitter boots!
